The Scenario

We were introduced by a funding broker to assist one of their prospects who had spoken to another broker, but wasn’t overly enamoured with the options available.

Jordan Brewer at Atradius was able to deliver a great level of cover across the board, with each debtor covered at the requested amount.

Pricing was Key

The other broker for some reason had not approached Atradius, and they not only had 100% risk appetite but were able to be competitive on premium to win the deal.

Conclusion

Ensuring that we reviewed the whole of the market enabled us to win this deal. Our new client is extremely happy as they received a policy with all the cover required, for a premium which was less than they were led to believe in their initial enquiry. We don’t often like to get involved when other brokers are already working on a deal, but there are certain occasions wherey the don’t do a ’proper’ job and we can find an alternative.
